Traditional market of Maumere was known is located in Geliting market. Where there are local people comes from another village until they comes from villages behine of the mountain to sell and buy something for their daily needs.it's about 5 km to east of Maumere town.
You can get there by bemo or motorcycle on Friday morning. And there you can find there are many kinds of local things it's about food and another things like local drinks name is "Moke" it's the hight alcohol water from palm or local people called "Lontar".
Another local food like vegetables, fruits, fishs, and local meals are there.
